Hastings resident Olin Lee Underwood, 89, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at College View Assisted Living and Memory Support, Hastings, Nebraska. Services will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014; 10:30 a.m. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Josh Davis officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation is today from 1-8 p.m. with family present 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church. Private condolences may be sent to the family at www.lbvfh.com. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

Deloris F. “Dee” Stokes, the daughter of Helen Ruth (Rickard) and Elmer Dell Stokes, was born October 19, 1937, at Red Cloud, Nebraska. She departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Heritage Care Center in Red Cloud at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 22 days. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:30 a.m., April 18, 2014, at the Simonson-Williams Funeral Home in Red Cloud with the Rev. Marshall Faulkenberry officiating. Interment will be at the Red Cloud Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to service time. A memorial fund has been established by the family.
