Hastings resident, Arthur "Art" Raymond Kolbet, 84, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Grand Island Veterans Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. Rosary will be Friday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the Lawrence Country Club in Lawrence, Nebraska or Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island for the residents. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family.

Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Smith Center, Kan., with the Rev. Randy Hill officiating. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery in Smith Center. Former Clay Center resident Roland Knox, 94, died April 28, 2015, at Ridgewood Care Center in Seward, Nebraska. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 2, at the United Church of Christ in Harvard, Nebraska, with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Clay Center Cemetery in Clay Center.
