HC awards contributors school's highest honor

Three individuals who have given generously of their time, talent and resources to Hastings College were inducted into the school's Pro Rege Society Thursday night.

Membership in the society is the highest non-academic recognition given by the school and honors those who have given extraordinary service or philanthropic contributions to the college, as well as school spirit and commitment over an extended period of time.

Pro Rege is a Latin phrase meaning "for the king," and is among the college's mottos.

"It's a night where we all celebrate Hastings College and those who make the school what it is today," said Hauli Sabatka, senior director of alumni relations and organizer of the event.
