Throughout the school year, St. Cecilia's Morgan Nikkila has struggled with one of life's major decisions — where to start her collegiate career.
Nikkila knew she wanted to play either basketball or volleyball. On Friday, she made her decision public. Nikkila signed with Central Community College-Columbus to play volleyball — the same program which former teammate Kaityln Ernst was a member of for the previous two seasons.
"After basketball was over, I went on a visit (to Columbus), and I really liked the campus and got to meet the girls. They were really cool, and I just felt like I would fit in with them," Nikkila said. "It just seemed like a really good fit for me. I just felt like I really needed to play volleyball; that's what I wanted to do."
