Dear Mother Nature: Enough is enough

A power pole and tree fell in Edgar resident Cheryl Earll's
backyard druring a Thursday night storm, landing on an
antique tractor restored by her son.

EDGAR — Cheryl Earll waited out the storm here Thursday night sitting in a bathroom in the center of her home as hail beat on her roof and windows.

By Friday morning, Earll had discovered that her son’s restored tractor, her yard pond and her garden were all casualties of the storm.
“Enough is enough,” Earll said Friday morning. “What have we done to deserve this?”

It was less than two months ago on Memorial Day when the southern half of the community was hit by an EF2 tornado that left a hole in the roof of one of Earll’s rental homes.
