Artist Andy Gentert of Hastings is happy to see the Art in the Park event he started continue without his direct involvement.

Instead of organizing the event this year, he was simply another artist meeting art enthusiasts. The event is now organized by the Adams County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“It goes to show it’s something the Hastings community enjoys,” he said. “The artists who are here are happy to have this here.”

Beautiful weather greeted artists and visitors Sunday for the sixth annual Art in the Park at Libs Park, 14th Street and Baltimore Avenue. Gentert said crowds were steady through the event.
