The renovation of the science classrooms and the addition of an agricultural education classroom to the high school got done just in time for the start of school today at Adams Central.
On Monday, the Board of Education took a tour of the new rooms and members were pleased with what they saw.
"This is awesome," said board member Ryan Weeks. "I'm so glad my kids will have this opportunity. I'm really happy."
Weeks had pushed for about 11 years for Adams Central to add agricultural education into the school's curriculum and create an FFA program for students.
In January, the board approved the addition of an ag science curriculum and FFA program. Classes this school year include introduction to ag science, plant and soil science and animal science.
