MINDEN — In a town the size of Minden everyone in the city office needs to work as a family and share responsibilities to get the work done.
That is why job duties have been shifted and Abbey Jordan, who had been administrative assistant in the city office, was sworn in during the Minden City Council meeting Monday as office manager/ city clerk. City administrator Matthew Cederburg had served as city clerk since former city clerk Lisa Karnatz left the city office in August 2012 to take a job with the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary.
"She's doing great," he said about Jordan. "She has that innate ability to know when something needs to be done. She's good at making sure it gets done."
