Schools receive composite ACT scores

The ACT scores for Hastings High and Adams Central went opposite directions this year, yet administrators are still pleased with the results.

Hastings High saw its composite score drop 2.5 points while the Adams Central class composite increased by 1.3 points.

The Nebraska Department of Education released ACT results from the graduating class of 2013 this week stating that the state average composite of 21.5 was higher than the national average of 20.9. The highest possible ACT score is 36.
