Top drivers to race at KAM

Jordan Parr races in a heat of the non-wing 600 micro-
sprints during the Brandon Keever Memorial Race July 26
at KAM Raceway.

Top micro sprint drivers from several states will line up to chase bragging rights and a guaranteed $10,000 in prize money at the second annual Thunder Alley Showdown at 8 p.m. Saturday at Kam Raceway east of Hastings.

All drivers are guaranteed at least two heats on the night, with pay-outs for winners of at least $2,000 in the Outlaw 600 Class and $1,000 in Wingless Class. Pay-outs may increase, depending on participation.

"We've got some of the best guys coming from around the area," said Brett Boden, track promoter. "People who drive full-size sprint cars are coming in and driving micros. We've got people who've been driving for 25 years coming and we've got rookies. People enjoy the race and love the track, knowing it's the best in the Midwest when it comes to micro sprint racing."
