The 2013 season was a special one for the Concordia University football team. The Bulldogs went 7-4 for their first winning season since 2001.
Still, the Concordia players and coaches were somewhat disappointed with how the season ended.
"For all of our improvements last fall from a statistics standpoint, we had some games last fall — especially toward the end of the year — where we did not come close to playing our best football," said Concordia head coach Vance Winter. "For us to take the next step, we need to eliminate those type of games."
The Bulldogs started the year 6-0, but finished the year winning just one of its last four games.
