KENESAW — Kyle Jensen did his work in the offseason. The Kenesaw defense would agree.
The Exeter-Milligan senior back ran through arm tackles and dodged Blue Devils defenders en route to a 200-yard, four-touchdown performance in the defending state champions' 52-26 victory on Friday night.
"Kyle did a great job. He worked hard in the weight room and his legs got a lot stronger," said Timberwolves head coach Dean Filipi. "That showed tonight."
Jensen also did work on special teams, where he picked up his fifth score of the night on a 75-yard punt return in the third quarter. He also had a 40-yard kick return on his final stat line.
"This was a good team effort. I couldn't have done anything without my line and my fullback," Jensen said. "It's all them."
