Faces of Tribland: Julie Koch

retiring after 32 years with the Adams County Sheriff's
Department.

Most secretarial jobs don't require the transportation of dangerous criminal suspects.

But that's the position Julia Koch found herself in many times during her 32-year history with the Adams County Sheriff's Office. Known to her friends as Julie, Koch has served as secretary and reserve deputy.

Fellow officer Glenn Kemp started working one year before Koch. He remembers transporting several prisoners with Koch because a woman was required to transport female prisoners.
