Lights illuminate holiday cheer

The glow of the holiday season is further illuminated by the many Christmas light displays that adorn neighborhoods around the globe.

From elaborate show-stopping spectacles to simple strings of lights, these displays symbolize a unity in a spirit of Yuletide magic.

In Hastings, there are a few select homes that stand out among the thousands that hang lights each year. Starting even before Thanksgiving in some instances, these committed Christmas enthusiasts spend long hours decorating their homes inside and out. The displays attract onlookers far and wide, people anxious to take in every blink and flash that shines forth in unparalleled glory.
