Hebron receives $1M endowment

HEBRON — The Hebron Community Foundation Fund balance will more than double following the recently announced bequest from the estate of Hebron native Glenn Korff.

The bequest provided $1 million to establish the Kenneth and Glenn Korff Endowment — named for Korff and his brother Ken who lives in Oro Valley, Ariz. — within the Hebron Community Foundation Fund, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation. The endowment funds are unrestricted.

"An unrestricted endowment to the community like this gives you a great deal of latitude in what you can do," said Pat Kenner, chair of the Hebron Community Foundation Fund. "Most of the funds we have are pretargeted."
