2 drop-off spots for trees in Hastings

Live Christmas trees are piled up at Chautauqua Park
Thursday afternoon. The Parks and Recreation Department
will be picking up discarded trees at Chautauqua Park and
the Duncan Field parking lot through Jan. 25.

The Hastings Parks and Recreation Department will be offering free pickup of discarded live Christmas trees from now through Jan. 25 on the east side of Chautauqua Park at North Woodland Avenue, and in the Duncan Field parking lot.

Artificial trees or other products will not be accepted. All trees should be free of decorations, bags and stands. All trees will be recycled into mulch.
