Frigid temperatures have kept many families inside for long days over the holiday break and that means finding ways to keep the children occupied.

Despite the cold, many families ventured outside and turned to the Hastings Family YMCA for some entertainment this week.

"This week after Christmas, we generally get very busy," said Kim Hunt, the YMCA's senior manager. "That's partly because we have activities for kids and because it's cold outside."
