HC women's soccer coach steps down

After coaching the Hastings College women's soccer team for two seasons, head coach Mark Hiemenz is stepping down to pursue an opportunity at the Division I level.

Hiemenz will become the next assistant coach for the University of Wyoming's women's soccer program. His last day with Bronco program will be Dec. 31.

"(The University of Wyoming) contacted me. I was not initially looking," said Hiemenz. "A couple days after we won the conference tournament in Sioux City, they contacted me and gave me the opportunity, and it was something that I just couldn't pass up."
