Faces of Sports: Mark Hiatt

For natural born athletes, the ability to compete at a high level of play just seems to come naturally to them.

Such wasn't the case for Hastings College alum Mark Hiatt.

Like his favorite player, NBA Hall of Fame member Larry Bird, Hiatt was never the most gifted athlete on the court. Some were bigger. Some stronger. And some just outright more gifted.

Yet Hiatt — like Bird — made the most of what talents he did possess.
