SUPERIOR — Blue Hill boys basketball coach Joe Hubl said he wasn’t disappointed that his team started the season 0-2 because the teams the Bobcats have faced have been talented. But what he was disappointed in was how his team was losing those two games.

There wasn’t much for Hubl to be disappointed in on Thursday.

Blue Hill earned its first win of the season in a 61-28 victory over Superior (0-3). The Bobcats (1-2) scored 21 in each of the first two quarters thanks in large part to a strong defensive effort.
