Devil Dogs take Harvard invite

Shelton/Kenesaw's Michael Duffy wrestles South Central's
Logan Searle in their 195-pound championship match at the
Harvard Invitational Saturday.

HARVARD — Going into the final round of matches, the Shelton/Kenesaw wrestling team trailed Meridian by four points. Once all of the matches were complete, the Devil Dogs won the Harvard invite by 42 points.
Shelton/Kenesaw had five wrestlers win their brackets, three place third and one finish fourth at Saturday's tournament.

"We could definitely get used to this sort of thing," said the Devil Dogs' head coach Joel Ferguson. "It's our first meet, and, hopefully, it's our worst meet and we keep going up from there. We had a lot of guys compete and a lot of guys come back and win."
