Eagles defeat Kenesaw boys 44-27

KENESAW — Bruning-Davenport/Shickley head boys basketball coach Fred Kluck said he was concerned going into Tuesday's game with Kenesaw.

He didn't know if his squad would be able to match up well enough with the Blue Devils' athleticism.

The Eagles calmed their coaches' fear right away, opening up with a 13-2 run behind five consecutive points from junior Chris Rohr and a strong defensive effort. That quick start proved to be just enough, as Kenesaw could only cut the deficit to as low as seven points in the Eagles' 44-27 road victory on Tuesday.
