BLUE HILL — Mackenzie Willicott picked the right time to be on fire.
The Blue Hill girls basketball team led just 21-18 over Superior after an up-and-down first half, and the Bobcat junior had just six points. The second half was a different story.
Willicott finished with 27 points — going 6-for-6 from the field in the fourth quarter alone — to spark Blue Hill's offense in the final 16 minutes in a 56-39 win Thursday.
"(Superior) was playing a man defense, and they had a smaller girl on her. Mackenzie is just tough in the post," said Blue Hill head coach Tim Streff, whose team improved to 3-0.
