A second-quarter shooting show by Adams Central helped lift the Patriots to a 67-39 win over Centura Friday night.
AC sank four straight 3-pointers as the Patriots expanded their six-point lead to 35-19 at the halftime break. Prior to that shooting explosion, the Patriots struggled in the quarterm, making just one of eight shots from the floor.
Freshman David Bohlen rang up back-to-back treys while Garrett Sittner and Kyle Wormstadt each gunned in a bucket from behind the arc during the shooting spree.
"Our biggest strength is that we have multiple guys who can shoot from the outside," said AC coach Zac Foster. "You can't just focus on one guy."
