Blue Hill cruises past Wood River

WOOD RIVER—The Blue Hill girls basketball team kicked their offense into high gear in the second half and never looked back in their 58-29 victory over Wood River on Thursday. 

After a slow, turnover-ridden first quarter, the Bobcats used their size and patient offense to find open looks and get easy buckets in the paint. 

Their defense, however, never had trouble revving up from the tip-off. 

"Our defense has been there for us in every game so far. I don't question that," Blue Hill head coach Tim Streff said.
