AC board focuses on mission, goals

The Adams Central Board of Education says it aims to focus its brain power and budget around the goal of preparing well-rounded students who are positive citizens and successful in their next phases of life.

This focal point was one of several priorities and goals that the board hopes will direct its mission in the coming years. With the help of a consultant, the board discussed its biggest challenges, the issues facing its patrons, and its visions for the future at a work session Monday night.

“I want all six of us to be pointed in the same direction — to get on the same page so we can formulate a direction for the future for us and for the district,” said board president Craig Bengtson.
