ROSELAND — The Silver Lake Lady Mustangs were eager for a win on Friday, and they did just enough to squeak out a 36-33 victory over Lawrence-Nelson.

The Lady Mustangs jumped out to a 4-3 early lead, but then had to play catch-up the rest of the game. The Lady Raiders had control of the lead for the remainder of the game until there was less than three minutes remaining.

Joslyn Grabill and Alissa Ehrman hit a pair of free-throws with 2:06 left in the game, giving the Lady Mustangs a 33-32 lead. Senior Kila Timm converted a jumper with 1:45 remaining to put Silver Lake up 36-32.
