Silver Lake girls head basketball coach Keith Crowe knew that his team was going up against a tough defense.

He wanted the Mustangs to try and hit some shots from the perimeter against Blue Hill's 2-3 zone defense, in hopes that it would open up the inside for senior post player Mackenzie Skupa.

But the Bobcats wouldn't let that happen.
Silver Lake was forced to try and hit outside shots, but finished just 1-of-17 from behind the 3-point line, helping the Bobcats advance to the Twin Valley Conference championship game with a 47-26 win Friday night at Adams Central.
