Adams Central had little trouble Monday in their 56-16 win over Arcadia/Loup City in a LouPlatte Conference girls basketball tournament game.

The Patriots jumped to a 14-0 first quarter lead and eventually led 31-6 at halftime.
The Lady Rebels stayed in a zone defense daring the Adams Central guards to shoot from the outside. AC would answer the challenge and knock down seven 3-pointers, including five in the first half.

"We knew that our shooters were going to have to show up tonight," Adams Central head coach Tim Marker said.
