The Blue Hill boys basketball team entered into the Twin Valley Conference team seeded sixth out of nine teams. That low ranking wasn't necessarily a judgement on how good or bad they were, as seedings were based on NSAA playoff points. Still, it put the Bobcats in a position where they needed to prove themselves.
After a solid win on Wednesday against Red Cloud, Blue Hill showed resolve once again with a 52-41 semifinal victory over No. 2-seeded Kenesaw Thursday night at Adams Central.
"We had to prove ourselves, and I think we're doing that," said Bobcats head coach Joe Hubl. "From the beginning of the season to now, we've developed and learned a lot. We believe in ourselves."
