Broncos drop game to Prairie Wolves

Hastings College's Zach Lenagh knocks the ball away from
Nebraska Wesleyan's Tim Schweitzer Wednesday night at
Lynn Farrell Arena.

The first 5 minutes, 38 seconds of Wednesday’s Hastings College men’s basketball game against Nebraska Wesleyan could not have gone better for the Broncos.

HC started the game on a 14-0 run with four different scorers contributing. But the next 34 minutes, 22 seconds did not go so smooth.
The NAIA No. 13 Broncos fell to Nebraska Wesleyan 75-70 in just the third home, GPAC loss for Hastings College.

“We’ll have to look at the film to find out what gave us a struggle. I think we had some good looks that we just didn’t knock down. Probably the most concerning thing was when we did knock down shots, our energy level at the defensive end wasn’t great,” said Hastings College head coach Bill Gavers.
