Patriots fall to Ravenna

In its final regular season game, the Adams Central girls basketball team dropped a tight one to the Ravenna Bluejays at Patriot Gym 53-45 in Hastings on Thursday night.

After clawing their way back into the game with a big third quarter, the Patriots (9-14) couldn’t overcome a sluggish final stanza and a game-high 23 points from Ravenna (17-6)
senior Amy Johnson.

“Their defensive pressure bothered us and took away some things for us,” Patriot coach Tim Marker said. “I was disappointed with our rebounding and how we lost the battle on the boards.”
