OMAHA — Nolan Laux completed his perfect season with a state championship Saturday afternoon.

The Hastings High sophomore won a 9-2 decision over Omaha Burke's Otis Rollins in the Class A 106-pound finals of the state wrestling tournament at the CenturyLink Center.

With the win, which came one week after Laux defeated Rollins at their district tournament, Laux finishes the season 43-0.

Also from Tribland, Kenesaw/Shelton's Michael Duffy, Fillmore Central's Zach Ekeler and Franklin's Mack James all dropped their title matches Saturday.
