Hastings College's Jake Hamburger shoots against
Concordia's Zach Chrzan Wednesday at Lynn Farrell Arena.
It's been an entertaining season for the Hastings College men's basketball team thus far. With it being head coach Lance Creech's final season, the Broncos — who were 12-18 last season — are 20-10 on the year and 11-9 in the talented GPAC. Seven different teams in the conference were at least receiving votes for the NAIA top 25 poll at some point during the season.
HC jumped out to a 9-1 start to the season, despite having lost star junior Tobin Reinwald to an injury that has kept him out all year. But the Broncos rallied together, recording nearly as many wins this year as the last two combined.
Throughout the season, Hastings College has held the top spot in the nation in terms of field goal percentage and has proven to be one of the GPAC's most potent offenses.
Despite all of that, the Broncos are likely one loss from ending their season.
