Bailey, Krula win semis

Sutton's Tyler Bailey wrestles Amherst's Clayton Dana during
their 126-pound Class D semifinal match of the state
tournament Friday at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

OMAHA — It's been a long year for Sutton's Tyler Bailey. The junior missed the state tournament last year after undergoing an emergency medical procedure just before the district tournament.

One year and a summer of hard work later, Bailey is back and making a lot of noise at the state tournament.

The 126-pounder sealed his spot in the Class D state championship on Friday at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha with a convincing 14-1 win over Amherst's Clayton Dana.

"I'm excited. It's great to be back," Bailey said. "It's just what I wanted, and I worked hard all offseason just to get here. Now I just have to go out and wrestle and have fun. I'm glad to be here."
