match Saturday at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

OMAHA — Though the final matches of the day for the remaining four Adams Central wrestlers may not have gone as they had hope, it was still a successful tournament for the Patriots.

Adams Central had four wrestlers earn a medal Saturday at the state tournament at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.

AC’s Alex Meier and Jack Barry finished with silver medals, while Derek Lonowski and Andrew Schilke placed fourth.

“It’s hard to medal, and Class B is so tough at every weight. These kids will look back and they’ll understand that it was quite the honor to medal where they did,” said AC head coach Dan Lonowski.
