— WHY CHARGE? —
As we have chosen to put the entire newspaper on the Web, primarily as a service to those who rely on mail delivery, and receive the printed paper days later. This not only makes the newspaper more timely, but also at a much lower price than a mail subscription.
We prefer to be pioneers in the newspaper business. We were the first newspaper in Nebraska to have a Web site, and were the first in Nebraska to put our entire newspaper on the Web.

**The Tribune pages are PDF files that duplicate the printed edition. PDF stands for Portable Document Format — a file distribution method developed by the Adobe Corporation to allow electronic information containing text, pictures and graphics to be transferred between various types of computers.
