Apfel acquires Brand-Wilson Funeral Home
Apfel Funeral Home has acquired Brand-Wilson Funeral Home and homes in Kenesaw and Harvard owned by the Wilson family, new owner Derek Apfel and former co-owner Murray Wilson Jr. confirmed this morning.
The sale, which went into effect on Jan. 1, expands the Apfel Funeral business to six locations. The others are in Grand Island, Wood River and Cairo.
“I’m excited to bring what we’ve done for a long time into Hastings,” Apfel said. “I look forward to being here in Hastings helping out Hastings families.”
