Budget, inheritance tax on area legislators' minds this session
The budget and the inheritance tax are two of the many topics Tribland area state senators are preparing to discuss when the 103rd Nebraska Legislature convenes at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The eight counties of Tribland are represented by four senators: District 32 Sen. Russ Karpisek of Wilber, District 33 Sen. Les Seiler of Hastings, District 34 Sen. Annette Dubas of Fullerton and District 38 Sen. Tom Carlson of Holdrege.
In the last day before the Legislature convenes, the four senators are scrambling to make the last additions to proposed bills and speaking with fellow senators about ideas and proposals.
