Chasing pigs, dancing the do-si-do and shouting Yee-haw are all part of a week of fun for fourth-graders at Longfellow Elementary this week.
Fax Gilbert, a creative dramatist and teacher from Iowa, is working with the students for the week on non-verbal communications and the art of theater.
His core group is the fourth-graders who are learning the "Great Nebraska History Play," where they learn about the pioneers and what life was like on the prairie.
"The goal is to give them the experience of performing in front of a group, to give them self-confidence and teach them about Nebraska history and have fun," he said.
