Film to tell story of Pacha Soap

Co-owners of Pacha Soap Andrew and Abi Vrbas sit down as a
film crew prepares cameras for an interview of the owners
Wednesday in Hastings. A film crew was in Hastings this week
filming the business for a project being done by Whole Foods.

As Andrew Vrbas weighed and combined the essential oils Wednesday used to make Inti soap — grapefruit, lavender and vetiver — he did so with an audience.

Vrbas was preparing a batch of Inti, which means “sun” in the indigenous South American language Quechua, in front of a camera crew from Austin, Texas. Vrbas and his wife Abi are co-founders of Pacha Soap in Hastings.

The crew from Alpheus Media has been in Hastings this week filming the Pacha story for a project in conjunction with Whole Foods Market, details of which are under wraps for now.

“It’s really kind of a complicated story of how we started, what we’re doing now and what we plan to be doing,” Abi said. “I’m really glad they allowed themselves three days to figure us out and hear the story, plus we’re grateful and feel blessed by the opportunity.”
