The 36-year-old Upland woman accused of prostituting her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters could spend up to 90 years in prison.
The woman was sentenced Wednesday morning in Buffalo County District Court in Kearney after pleading no contest Nov. 2, 2012, to conspiracy to commit first-degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of child pornography possession.
Judge John Icenogle sentenced the woman to a minimum of 50 years in prison for conspiracy to commit first-degree sexual assault of a child, the maximum penalty for the charge; and 15-20 years in prison for each of the child pornography charges. The sentences, to be served at the Nebraska Correctional Center for Women in York, will run consecutively.
Icenogle gave her credit for the 272 days she already served in Buffalo County Jail.
She could be eligible for parole in 38 years, which is half of the total minimum sentence minus time served, and be discharged from the correctional system in 44 years, which is half of the total maximum sentence.
