Battered. Bruised. Unbeaten.
The Adams Central boys basketball team is in the midst of what's becoming a special season. The Class C-1 Patriots have yet to lose a game, improving to 11-0 with a hard fought 56-43 win over Class D-1 foe Loup City on Friday.
Keeping that unblemished record intact is nice, but AC head coach Zac Foster wanted more out of his team in this game.
"You should never be disappointed with a win. There was a couple things that frustrated me. Defensively, I didn't think we guarded the ball good enough. (Loup City) repeatedly got into the paint," Foster said. "We pride ourselves on defense. That's what we talk about. I don't know if we had our A game tonight."
