GILTNER — The Giltner boys' basketball team had something big to prove Friday night.
The Hornets were out to show they are once again contenders for postseason laurels.
The two-time defending state basketball champions overcame a first-half deficit to defeat Bruning-Davenport-Shickley 49-39 in a game which each squad carried in a seven-game winning streak.
