Adams Central boys cruise

HASTINGS — After a 52-42 setback against Arcadia-Loup City on Friday night to end its three-game winning streak, the Adams Central boys basketball team responded quickly with a dominating 62-37 victory over the St. Paul (1-10) Wildcats on Saturday night to improve to 9-4 on the season.

“I think the kids responded really well after (Friday) night,” Adams Central coach Zac Foster said. “This was kind of a maturity test for us, and we bounced back.”
