Broncos place four at Cusatis Open

Hastings College's Alec Chanthapatheth wrestles University of
Nebraska-Kearney's A.J. Hurtado in the 141-pound weight
class during the Cusatis Open Saturday at Lynn Farrell Arena.

It was a busy weekend for the Hastings College wrestling team. After losing a dual to Northwestern 30-24 on Friday, the Broncos had to recover in time for its home invite Saturday.

Hastings College had four medalists in the Cusatis Open, named after former HC wrestler Brad Cusatis who died in a car accident in September 2012.

Broncos head coach Shawn Kelley said his team’s performance on Saturday was “a little disappointing.”
