Last year, the Kenesaw girls basketball team thrived under then first-year head coach Jace Morgan. With five senior starters, the team played with the confidence that comes with experience and finished 16-6.
This season wasn't going to be easy for Kenesaw. Not with losing the amount of players it did.
That was evident early when the young Blue Devils started off the season 2-5. But now the team is starting to click, winning six of its last seven games to improve to 8-6 overall.
The turnaround started just before the holiday tournament, Morgan said.
