GRAND ISLAND — Last Saturday, the St. Cecilia girls basketball beat Lincoln Christian but had its worst scoring effort of the season.

Tuesday against the Class B No. 2 Northwest Vikings, the Class C-2 No. 3 Hawkettes’ shooting woes still hadn’t subsided. The team hit just 25 percent (12-of-48) of its shots, missing too many good looks in the post.
