To say that the St. Cecilia boys are playing well might be an understatement.

Defense led the Bluehawks to a 51-32 victory Thursday over Minden, improving STC to a record of 10-3. The victory was also the sixth in a row for St. Cecilia and the 10th in the last 11 games.

STC (10-3) held just a two-point lead at halftime, but the Bluehawks’ defense dominated the third quarter. St. Cecilia outscored Minden (5-8) 12-3 in the quarter with the Whippets’ only field goal coming at the 1:09 mark.
