KENESAW — Scoring came in small bunches for the Lawrence-Nelson girls. But they were enough to help the Raiders edge Kenesaw Friday.
L-N pieced together four scoring flurries in the second half and went on to secure a 36-31 Twin Valley Conference win.
"It seemed like all of a sudden the shots would start falling. And then we'd go for a dry spell," said L-N coach Cathy Biltoft after the Raiders evened their record to 6-6. "Once we calmed down in the third quarter we started to come back."
