BDS boys survives thriller with E-M

DAVENPORT — Ryan Tegtmeier garners a lot of attention from Bruning-Davenport/Shickley opponents. And rightfully so.

But Friday night, during the Class D-1 No. 8 Eagles' matchup with Crossroads Conference rival Exeter-Milligan, several other players stepped to the forefront with big plays.

As a result, the Eagles were able to hold off a late rally from the Timberwolves and prevail 56-51 in front of a packed house at the Davenport gymnasium.
